Leeds Festival: 25th-27th August

Matt Crisp April 4, 2017

With the weather hotting up, that can only mean one thing – festival season is nearly upon us! There are countless music events going on throughout the course of the year, with every taste imaginable catered for, but if you’re of a somewhat rockier persuasion then Leeds Festival is the one to go to.

It takes place every year in Bramhall Park up north over the August Bank Holiday weekend (25th-27th) and 2017’s affair looks set to be even bigger and better than ever before. The line-up is stuffed full of amazing acts and big names from all over the world, so you can bet you’ll be in for a good show if you do decide to book tickets.

Come Friday, Muse is headlining, while Haim, Blossoms, Giggs, Marshmello and Halsey are also on the bill. On the Saturday, Kasabian is headlining, with other acts including Bastille, Two Door Cinema Club, Fatboy Slim, Jimmy Eat World and Lethal Bizzle to name just a few. And on the Sunday, Eminem is heading up the list, joined by Korn, Major Lazer, At The Drive In, The Black Lips and lots more.

A lot of people get put off going to festivals like this because they think they’ll be stuck in a cramped little tent in a tiny field, with no access to any touches of luxury. But that’s certainly not the case these days! You can start your trip off right by booking luxury coach hire to Leeds so you and your group can travel in style and comfort, and this certainly doesn’t have to change just because you reach the campsite.

Apparently, there are still a few limited Seat of Luxury (SOL) tickets available that will grant you access to high-tech loo facilities, hot running water, hair dryers and straighteners, and vanity mirrors. All you have to do is order your tickets online and make sure you bring proof of purchase and some ID with you in order to get your SOL wristband. So there’s no need to go home feeling like you’ve brought some of Leeds Fest with you – you can keep yourself as spick and span as you like!

You can also get yourself luxury camping tickets for sites like Pink Moon, which has a variety of different accommodation styles available – and the best bit is that the tents are already erected so you don’t have to bother doing that yourself and can just carry on with having fun instead. Or you could go for the Podpads Luxury Accommodation, a boutique camping alternative that can cater for different party sizes. Here, there are hot private showers, serviced toilet, free phone-charging facilities and a pamper tent.

These days, it seems that you no longer have to rough it when you go to a festival – so start planning your little holiday away today. Get in touch with us if you need to book the best coach hire Leeds has to offer.
