We’ve put up with some pretty terrible weather over the last few months, even at the start of June with lots of rain falling in a short space of time and incredibly high winds making it hard for us to go about our daily business. And when it comes to holidays, nobody likes travelling around in the wind and rain, do they?

Well, if you are planning on hotfooting it around the UK this year on a tour of the great British countryside, now’s the time to book luxury minibus hire as the news is just in that the weather is on the up!

The latest report from the Met Office suggests that summer warmth is now on the way and temperatures could even reach as high as 28 degrees C in London from Wednesday. If you’re planning a trip to southern England or Wales, expect to be greeted with temperatures in the mid to high 20s, so make sure you pack your sun cream.

Hot conditions are also expected to continue into next week in the south, so booking a trip away might be wise if you want to catch a few rays.

“With high pressure building from the south-west and warm air being drawn up from the Azores, the south will see some warm and sunny weather redeveloping from late Friday through into the weekend. We expect the settled conditions to remain into the weekend but just how high temperatures will get is still uncertain,” chief meteorologist Steve Ramsdale said.

Beware if you’re a hayfever sufferer, however, as there is a very high risk from grass pollen in places like the north-west, the West Midlands and London and south-east England at the moment.
